Meet Tasta Kvinns
Tasta Kvinns is a women’s choir based in Stavanger, led by conductor Héloïse Baldelli.
We are a warm and diverse group of women brought together by a shared love of music, community, and creative expression.
Our repertoire spans everything from traditional Norwegian folk songs to modern pop and international choral works—always sung with heart, a twinkle in the eye, and a rich, resonant sound.
We hold two main concerts each year—one in summer and one at Christmas—and we also love performing at local events, private gatherings, and nursing homes.
Our story began in the 1990s, when a small group of women from Tasta started singing together.
Today, we’ve grown into an international sisterhood with members from eleven different countries: Norway, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Spain, Ukraine, Cuba, Australia, Italy, the United States, Germany, and Scotland—a true reflection of Stavanger’s diversity.
When women sing, the world listens.

Heloïse Baldelli – Conductor

She has conducted and coached several choirs in both Norway and Italy, including the Sandnes Opera Choir, and has extensive experience as an opera singer—with performances for companies such as Opera Rogaland.
Héloïse joined Tasta Kvinns in 2024 and leads the choir with warmth, precision, and musicality. She inspires us to find both richness and character in every performance.
