Meet Our Choir

Tasta Kvinns is a women’s choir based in Stavanger, Norway, led by conductor Héloïse Baldelli. We’re a warm, diverse group of women brought together by a shared love of music, community, and expression. Our repertoire spans everything from traditional Norwegian songs to international pop and modern choral works—always performed with heart, humor, and harmony.

We hold two main concerts each year—one in the summer and one at Christmas—and love singing at local events, private gatherings, and care homes. ​

Our story began in the mid-1990s with a handful of women from the Tasta neighborhood. Today, we’ve grown into an international community of voices, with members from eleven countries: Norway, UK, Hungary, Spain, Ukraine, Cuba, Australia, Italy, USA, Germany, and Scotland—reflecting the vibrant diversity of Stavanger itself. ​
